We are stitching continuously, no joining rounds.

R : 1 - ch 2,  4 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, ( 4 sc)
R : 2 - 2 sc in each sc, ( 8sc)
R : 3-7 - 1 sc in each sc, ( 8sc) tie off after R : 7,
leaving a 12 inch tail of yarn.

Stuff paw, sew end closed, then place next to the
head on the blanket and sew securely.

With Stripe yarn make 2 stitches around the front to form paws.

This Yarn can be a little scratchy for for babiesand Kids, so here are a
few tips on how to make it soft.

1. Wash the lovie on gentle with some fabric softener
 and dry on gentle.

2. Another option is to wash the lovie on gentle,
but add a tsp. of White vinegar, and dry on gentle.

3. You can also try washing the yarn before making
the lovie by putting it in a mesh bag,
and washing it with some fabric softener,
and again drying on gentle.

I personally have not had good results with option 3.

Option 1 works best for me, but I do not put it in the dryer.
